Vitamin D, also known as the sunshine vitamin is a fat soluble vitamin, so it is stored in the body. Vitamin D deficiency is relatively common, especially in the UK due to lack of sunshine; roughly half of the UK population are deficient. Some groups of people are at a higher risk of deficiency such as people who are obese, who have dark skin and who are older than 65.

Vitamin D is necessary for good bone health, it reduces inflammation, as well as modulating cell growth, neuromuscular and immune function and glucose metabolism.

Each 1.5ml ampoule contains:

Cholecalciferol 300 000iu

Butylhydroxytoluene, medium chain glycerine

Expiry date: 04-06-2027
